Does my insurance cover Acupuncture?

We are in-network with several insurance companies including Independence Blue Cross, HighMark BCBS, Independence Administrators, United Healthcare & Aetna. However, insurance coverage for acupuncture varies widely depending on the plan you have. Most plans also only cover acupuncture for specific diagnoses, mainly pain.  Insurance does NOT cover acupuncture for cosmetic purposes or Microneedling sessions.

Do I have a co-pay or co-insurance?

Again, it depends on your specific plan but most insurance companies do have a co-pay or co-insurance. When seeing an acupuncturist, it is typically the listed amount for a Specialist visit.

Can I use my Flex spending or Health Savings Account (HSA) for acupuncture?

Yes, you can use either account to pay for your copay, co-insurance and acupuncture treatments.

In order to best serve you we can verify your insurance benefits before you arrive. Please either call the office with your insurance information or fill out your information after clicking the Book Now link.  We will contact you as soon as the benefits are established.
