Jenna Ferraiolo, Dipl.OM, L.Ac.
Jenna is a Nationally certified Diplomat of Oriental Medicine (Dipl. O.M.). As a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, Jenna has the highest qualifications in Chinese Medicine available in the United States. She has passed four National board exams to include acupuncture point location, acupuncture foundations, biomedicine, and Chinese herbal medicine exams. She holds licenses in both Pennsylvania and California as an Oriental Medical Practitioner, L.OMP. Jenna also holds a certification in Microneedling or Collagen Induction Therapy. In addition to her private practice, Jenna also works at Mirmont Treatment Center in Media, PA where she holds group acupuncture sessions to assist patients through the detoxification process of substance abuse. The process is gradual and aimed at significantly reducing withdrawal symptoms.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND CAREER
Jenna graduated Magna cum laude from Ithaca College in NY in 2003 with her B.S. in Fitness & Cardiac Rehabilitation and Nutrition Science. She then earned her M.S. from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, CA in 2008. While in Acupuncture school, she traveled to Beijing, China to study in several area hospitals with Traditional Chinese Medical Doctors and to Uganda to volunteer with the Pan African Acupuncture Project where she helped train healthcare workers how to utilize acupuncture to better serve their community. She also spent some time in refugee camps at the southern border of Uganda and Rwanda treating refugees with acupuncture.
Before moving to Pennsylvania, Jenna co-owned a successful acupuncture practice in the San Francisco Bay Area for 7 ½ years. She moved back to the East Coast in 2017 to raise her three girls closer to her family. She worked at Awaken Integrative Wellness in Media, PA from 2018 until it closed its doors in 2020. She then opened Acacia Acupuncture and Wellness Center to give her patients continuation of care.
Jenna practices Traditional Chinese Medicine, which includes Acupuncture, cupping, moxibustion and the prescription of Chinese Herbs. She utilizes several types of acupuncture including traditional Chinese acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, electro-acupuncture, orthopedic (sports) acupuncture as well as scalp acupuncture for neurological disorders. Through all her acupuncture styles, she uses a gentle approach to ensure patient comfort. Jenna specializes in pain management, migraines, digestive disorders, fertility, pre-natal and post-natal care and general wellness.
Kelsey Morgan, L.Ac.
Kelsey is a PA state licensed acupuncturist and holds a Masters in Acupuncture Studies from the Won Institute of Graduate Studies. During her 3 year internship, Kelsey worked in the student and veteran clinics and also provided acupuncture to drug & alcohol recovery centers in the Philadelphia region.
Kelsey has an appreciation for the various modalities Chinese Medicine has to offer, utilizing skills such as acupuncture, trigger point dry needling, electrical stimulation, moxibustion, cupping and gua sha. Her clinical experience in both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Five Element styles of acupuncture ensures that her treatments are curated to the individual needs and concerns of her patients. Kelsey’s clinical interests include pain management, women’s health, pre & post natal care, sports medicine, digestive & endocrine disorders, mental health, and addiction recovery.
Kelsey also holds a BS in Anthropology and Spanish from Juniata College. As a Media native and current Swarthmore resident, Kelsey is thrilled to share acupuncture with her community.
